- Tipper Trailers: Larger than a dump trailer, these trailers are designed to maximize interior volume. Most commonly used in the waste and wood products industry.
- Dump Trailers: Designed to raise the body so material slides out the back.
- Hopper-Bottom Trailers: Load from the top and discharge loose material from underneath.
